Dimitris Issaris
"In composing the Anthem for the Euro-American Women's Council, I wanted to capture the essence of female empowerment embodied in Artemis, the ancient Greek patron goddess of women and appropriately, the emblem of EAWC. I used as the foundation of the anthem the lyrics of an ancient Greek hymn that was dedicated to Artemis. Then, I composed the music to combine the strength of Artemis and the dynamism of today's women of the Euro-American Women Council".
